Renter Information needed when requesting a booking time:

To confirm your rental dates a security deposit of $500 is required to reserve your stay at the log cabin and the full payment is due sixty (60) days prior to the rental date. We will require some of your personal information in order to fill out the contract (agreement) before sending it out to you.

Reservation guidelines:

• We operate our business on a first come first served basis

• The cottage will not be considered rented until we receive both the signed contract and payment

• We will update the rental calendar within 24 hours of receiving your deposit and signed contract

• Security deposit will be returned 3 days after the end of the rental period

Summer Rental Season: June 8th to September 14th 2024

• Weekly Rental Booking Only (7 nights)

• Week of June 8 to 15, June 15 to 22, September 7 to 14:

  • Weekly fee is $1,900 

• From June 22 to September 7:

  • Weekly fee is $2,200 

• Check in Saturday after 17:00 (5:00 pm.)

• Check out Saturday by 10:00 am.

• Maximum 6 people (4 adults)

• Pet friendly property: your pet is free to roam around the fence-in property. However you are responsible for picking up your pet's daily droppings

• No smoking indoors

• No parties or gathering

• No noise after 11p.m. (municipality by-law)

• $500 Deposit required on booking day for one (1) week rental

• $750 Deposit required on booking day for two (2) week rental

Summer Rental Agreement Template Information

• It is hereby agreed between both parties of the above mentioned a total rental agreement for the sum of $xxxx (xxx dollars) for a xx night (x) stay at the North Star cottage as per the rental dates listed below. All financial transactions are by e-transfer.

• A security deposit of $500.00 (five hundred dollars) is required on the booking date and the contract must be signed and returned by email. The deposit of $500.00 shall be forfeited in case of any damages to premises rented. Deposit shall be returned 3 days after completion of rental period and inspection of premises.

• Total rental fee listed in paragraph (1) must be received no later than 8 weeks (60 days) prior to arrival date. If the North Star is booked within 8 weeks (60 days) of arrival date, the full rental amount plus the security deposit must be paid when returning the signed rental agreement.

• In case of cancellation, the deposit of $500.00 shall be forfeited. If cancellation is between 31 to 60 days before rental arrival date (45 days for the fall season), 50% of the total amount paid will be reimburse (excluding security deposit). If cancellation is within 30 days of the rental arrival date, the full rental amount shall be forfeited.

• Maximum occupancy is 6 people with no more than 4 adults.

• The lessor shall not be held responsible for any claims, accidents, bodily harm and/or stolen goods and shall not hold the owner responsible for acts of God or power shortage or inconveniences. Due to environmental norms, use of any type of soap or shampoo in the lake is prohibited and will result in immediate eviction of rental premises.
